A silicone based polymer

The basic group of addition liquid silicone rubber silicone based polymer, mainly containing 2 or more than 2 silicon - vinyl poly two organic siloxane. The crosslinking agent

The basic group of addition liquid silicone rubber crosslinking agent, polysiloxane oligomers containing 3 or more than 3 silicon hydrogen bonds, namely methyl low viscosity silicone oil containing hydrogen.

The catalyst

The catalyst can be triggered by hydrosilylation although there are many, but can be used forcatalyst addition liquid silicone rubber, just a group VIII transition metal elements and their compounds or complexes, the catalytic efficiency of platinum catalyst is the highest.

The direct application of platinum catalyst, silicone rubber at room temperature can completecatalytic hydrosilylation vulcanization reaction; adding inhibitor on platinum catalyst, prepared forcatalyst temperature vulcanization reaction.

The reinforcing material

The mechanical strength of vulcanized silicone rubber obtained by simple silicone base polymer and crosslinking silicone oil containing hydrogen is not high, in order to improve the mechanical strength of vulcanized silicone rubber, adding reinforcing filler in silicone rubber system. The most commonly used reinforcing filler with fumed silica, precipitated silica, quartz powder; to obtain colorless transparent silicone rubber, application of methyl vinyl MQ resin for transparent reinforcing filler.

Other additives

For the adjustment of process performance of silicone rubber or the use of performance, need to cooperate with different additives. The deployment of compound color, need to use as a pigment or dye colorant; in order to improve the heat resistance of silicone rubber, need to add heat additives;for improving the adhesion properties of silicone rubber, should be the introduction of thickening agent and other auxiliary components.
