Features and applications:

IOTA 580 is a kind of organic silane with an organic thiol and a hydrolytic inorganic ethylene oxide double functional group. It is a colorless transparent liquid, slightly mercaptan smell, soluble in alcohols, ketones, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

1. This product has thiol functional group, it can be anti-rusting agent, used in the treatment of gold, silver, copper and other metal surface, enhance the rot-proofness, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and increase the cohesiveness between metal and resin polymer.

2. In rubber industry, commonly used in the treatment of fumed silica, carbon black, glass fiber, mica and other inorganic fillers, effectively improve the mechanical properties and wear resistance of rubber.

3. Can be anti-Shrinking finishes agent in textile.
