Molecular-Level Release: A Surface Tension Miracle
The linear molecular structure of silicone oil provides an ultra-low surface tension of 20–21 dyn/cm, just 28% of water’s surface tension. Tests by an automotive parts manufacturer showed that in a 200 °C die-casting environment, the silicone oil release agent maintained 90% of its room-temperature efficiency, while conventional wax-based release agents completely carbonized. In a wide pH range of 2–12, the number of release cycles is extended 5–8 times compared with polyvinyl alcohol-based agents.
