Product Overview
IOTA M20-50W-0 is an addition-cure silicone rubber specially designed for anti-mold applications. It features excellent thixotropy and mold resistance, strong adhesion to substrates, and high strength after curing. It is suitable for a wide range of sealing and coating scenarios where mold prevention is required.

Key Features

Thixotropy & Mold Resistance: Excellent thixotropic properties allow for easy application and effective suppression of mold growth, meeting specialized anti-mold needs.
Substrate Adhesion: Strong bonding to various surface materials, with minimal risk of detachment.
Mechanical Strength: After curing, it exhibits high tensile strength (≥ 4 MPa), tear strength (≥ 10 kN/m), and elongation (≥ 200%), offering long-lasting durability.

Typical Applications

Used as a specialized anti-mold adhesive for sealing or bonding joints where antibacterial and mold-resistant properties are needed.
Suitable for processes such as blade coating and dip coating; can be processed into anti-mold coatings or film products.

Important Notes

This product uses a platinum catalyst system. The catalyst is present only in Component A. Contact with substances containing nitrogen, phosphorus, or sulfur must be strictly avoided to prevent catalyst poisoning and curing failure.
Ensure that both Components A and B are sealed and free from contamination before mixing.

Viscosity (23 °C, after stirring): 1000 mPa·s (Test method: ISO 3219)

Component B

Color: Customizable (can be adjusted according to specific requirements)
Viscosity (23 °C, after stirring): 65000 mPa·s (Test method: ISO 3219)

Mixed Properties (A:B = 2:100 by weight)

Mixed Viscosity (23 °C, after stirring): 60000 mPa·s (Test method: ISO 3219)

Cured Properties

Color: Customizable (same as Component B)
Hardness (Shore A): 30–60 (Test method: DIN 53505)
Tensile Strength: ≥ 4 MPa (Test method: DIN 53504)
Elongation: ≥ 200% (Test method: DIN 53504)
Tear Strength: ≥ 10 kN/m (Test method: ASTM D 624B)

Packaging Specifications

Component A: 2 kg/drum
Component B: 200 kg/drum

Storage & Shelf Life

Storage Conditions: Store below 23 °C in unopened condition. Avoid direct sunlight or high temperatures.
Shelf Life: 12 months (Refer to the product label for manufacturing date and recommended use-by date).
Use After Expiration: If the product is past its shelf life, critical performance indicators (such as curing speed, hardness, and mechanical properties) should be tested and verified before use.
