Unveiling the IOTA M4750 Series: Food-Grade Liquid Silicone Rubber for Cookware

The choice of materials plays a critical role in the manufacturing of cookware. The IOTA M4750 Series food-grade liquid silicone rubber has become a preferred option in the cookware industry due to its outstanding performance.

The IOTA M4750 Series is a two-component, high tear-resistant addition-cure liquid silicone rubber, with a mixing ratio of 1:1. It boasts several key advantages: excellent demolding properties, allowing easy separation from molds after forming; fast curing speed, significantly improving production efficiency; and excellent mechanical properties, offering strong durability. Additionally, it strictly complies with BfR, FDA, and ROHS standards, ensuring safety and reliability for use in cookware items that come into contact with food.

The range of applications is vast, covering various cookware parts, standard pacifiers, injection-molded components, and complex injection-molded products.

When using the product, note that it is platinum-catalyzed, with the catalyst incorporated in Component A, so it is important to prevent catalyst poisoning. Only A and B components from the same batch should be mixed, and materials should be thoroughly stirred before transfer.

Performance varies across different models, with hardness ranging from 20 to 70 Shore A and tensile strength between 7 and 10 MPa. In terms of packaging, both A and B components come in 200 kg drums. When unopened and stored below 23°C, the product can be stored for up to 12 months, and it can still be used if it passes testing after the expiration period.
