Performance characteristics of vinyl silicone oil

1, non-toxic and tasteless, no mechanical impurities
Vinyl silicone oil is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid, non-toxic, tasteless, and free of mechanical impurities. The oil is insoluble in water, but it is miscible with benzene, dimethyl ether, methyl ethyl ketone, tetrachlorocarbon, or kerosene, and slightly soluble in acetone and ethanol.
2, smaller steam pressure, higher flash point and ignition point, lower freezing point
These characteristics make vinyl silicone oil stable and non-volatile at high temperatures or in special environments, thus ensuring its long-term performance in a variety of applications.
3, strong reactivity
Double-ended vinyl silicone oil with vinyl on both ends, which makes it highly reactive. Under the action of catalyst, vinyl silicone oil can react with chemical substances containing active hydrogen groups and other active groups, so as to prepare various silicon products with special properties. During the reaction, vinyl silicone oil does not release other low molecular substances, and the reaction deformation is small, which further improves its practicality in the chemical industry.
4, excellent smoothness, softness, brightness and temperature and weather resistance
These properties make vinyl silicone oil widely used in the modification of plastics, resins, paints, coatings and so on. At the same time, it can also be used as a basic raw material in the production of high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (HTV) to enhance the strength and hardness of silicone rubber. In the production of liquid silicone rubber, vinyl silicone oil is also the main raw material for injection molding silicone rubber, electronic adhesive and thermal conductive adhesive.
