Fluorosilicone oil

Fluorosilicone oils are commonly used for waterproof and stain-resistant finishing of fabrics and leathers, etc., and have oil and solvent repellency. Generally speaking, the alkyl chain containing 8-10 perfluorocarbon atoms can achieve the maximum effect of water and oil repellency. For fluorinated organosilicon polymers with the same number of carbon atoms, the water and oil repellency of straight chain is more effective than that of branched chain.
