Government will develop standards for food packaging paper

Packaging everywhere. As food "personal clothing" package is being asked to play a role in ensuring food safety. To ensure better play this role, the state authorities said coated paper used for packaging food, pulp molding tableware national standards.

Many kinds of food packaging, coated paper, the amount of large, are in direct contact with the food material. At present, there is no corresponding standard for that type of product specifications. The new national standard developed by the provisions of the safety performance of coated paper used for food packaging (the health indicators, raw materials), physical properties (quantitative bias, banners thickness difference, film quantitative bias, bonding degree, the degree of resistance to grease, leakage resistance, dyne degree delivery of water) and other indicators.
Refers to the pulp molded pulp tableware by molding, molding, drying and other processes in the system of paper tableware, has molded cups, molded bowl, molded paper lunch boxes, molded tray, molded paper plates and so on. These products using virgin fiber pulp as raw material, the strength is superior to other similar products, and the recovery of high-value, biodegradable, is regarded as a green, environmentally friendly products, but not yet for the molded paper tableware national standards. Paper products in order to improve food standards, standard committee will develop a national paper "pulp tableware" national standards. Safety performance standards prescribed molded pulp tableware (health indicators, raw materials), physical properties (size deviation, capacity deviation, leakage resistance, heat resistance, cup body stiffness, load performance, compression performance, the lid fold test, drop test, water) and other indicators.
National Standard Committee, said the paper, to regulate food contact products, to protect the safety of consumers, the future of food packaging coated paper, paper pulp tableware will develop national standards.
