Industry Exhibition Information:
The 2025 Shanghai International Silicone New Materials Expo will be held from September 23 to 27, 2025, with setup on September 21–22. The 13th Shenzhen International Silicone Materials Expo 2026 has opened its booth registration and will take place from June 10 to 12, 2026, at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Project Registration of Xinyaqiang Silicon Chemical Co., Ltd.:
On September 11, the project of Xinyaqiang Silicon Chemical Co., Ltd. for the annual production of 45,000 tons of high-end silicone materials and high-purity functional additives was approved. The total investment for the project is 15 billion yuan, and it will be built in Suyu District, Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. The project will establish production capacity for various high-end silicone materials and additives.

MIIT emphasizes anti-“involution,” industry association responds:
At a State Council press conference, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stressed the strict regulation of irrational competition. The China Fluorosilicone Organic Materials Industry Association called on companies in the fluorosilicone sector to focus on their core business, strengthen self-discipline, develop collaboratively, consciously resist irrational competition, and work together to promote high-quality development of the fluorosilicone industry.

Debang Securities releases research report on the silicone industry:
On August 26, 2025, Debang Securities published a research report on the basic chemical industry, noting that expectations for industry coordination are strengthening, and a phase of rebound may occur. The report states that with the inclusion of “anti-involution” policies in national planning, combined with the continued initiatives of industry associations, moderate coordinated production cuts may become a normalized practice in the silicone industry, supporting price stability and sustained recovery of industry profitability.

Hoshine Silicon releases 2025 semi-annual report:
On August 28, 2025, Hoshine Silicon released its 2025 semi-annual report. In the first half of 2025, the company achieved revenue of 9.775 billion yuan, down 26.34% year-on-year; the net profit attributable to the parent company was -397 million yuan, a decrease of 140.60% year-on-year. In Q2 2025 alone, the company achieved revenue of 4.548 billion yuan, down 42.11% year-on-year, with a net loss attributable to the parent company of -657 million yuan, marking its first quarterly loss since listing.
