  • XPJ-100 Modified Silicone Defoamer: A New Efficient Choice for Foam Control

    In various stages of industrial production, foam often becomes a stubborn “obstacle,” not only affecting production efficiency but also potentially compromising product quality. The XPJ-100 series of modified silicone defoamers, with its innovative technology and outstanding performance, has become an ideal solution for tackling foam-related issues.

    The XPJ-100 series is carefully formulated using specially developed emulsifiers created in-house. It breaks through the limitations of traditional defoamers by significantly improving both defoaming speed and dispersibility, while also solving the industry-wide problem of emulsion breaking and oil floating after dilution. Additionally, it greatly enhances antifoaming performance. Based on different solid contents, the series includes five models: XPJ-110, XPJ-115, XPJ-118, XPJ-120, and XPJ-130.     From a technical perspective, XPJ-100 appears as a uniform milky white emulsion and is classified as a non-ionic emulsion. The pH remains stable between 7 and 9. In a centrifuge test at 3000 rpm for 20 minutes, the product maintains excellent stability without phase separation or sedimentation.

    In the textile and dyeing industry, it quickly eliminates foam generated during processing or from dyeing auxiliaries, ensuring even coloration and sharp patterns. In water treatment, industrial circulating water, and paper washing processes, it effectively removes harmful foam, ensuring smooth operation. In petroleum extraction, it shows excellent performance in eliminating foam in drilling muds and cement slurries. Moreover, it can effectively handle various types of foam in aqueous systems.

    For packaging, storage, and transportation, we offer multiple options including 25kg, 50kg, and 200kg plastic drums, as well as 200kg internally coated steel drums to meet different customer needs. It should be stored at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, and should not be mixed with acids, alkalis, or salts. Once diluted with water, long-term storage is not recommended. However, even if stratification or emulsion breaking occurs after over a year of storage, simply stirring before use will restore its performance with no impact on effectiveness. It can be transported as a non-hazardous material, ensuring safe and convenient handling.
