Basic chemical industry Weekly - from Huarong securities

Crude oil continued to fall.

Last week, an important upstream raw material: WTI crude oil futures price change ($85.82 / barrel, -4.37%), NYMEX natural gas ($3.700 /mmbtu, -8.39%),ICE cotton (64.10 cents / pound, 2.61%), HuJiao (12375 yuan / ton, 0.45%).

Last week the price increase scope precedes the chemical products: polymerMDI (East China area, 4.79%), acetic anhydride (East China area, 4.76%),dichloromethane (East China area, 3.90%), BDO (East China area, 3.52%),chlorine (East China area, 3.33%).

Last week the price decline in the first five chemical products: International naphtha (Singapore, but adiene (-9.05%), Southeast Asia CFR, -8.67%), acetic acid (East China area, -8.57%), ammonia (Jiangsu factory, -8.20% International(Singapore), fuel with high sulfur 180CST, -7.42%).

The industry index outperform, resin and other sub sectors were among the biggest gainers.

Last week the basic chemical (CITIC) industry index closed at 3432.65, up 3.80% over the same period, the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 index rose 1.21%, the industry index outperform. The resin sub sector rose 12.04%, silicone and other chemical products sub industry index rose 11.48% and 6%, printing and dyeing, the polyester and inorganic salt chemical sub sectors or ranking,respectively, down 2.27% and up 0.19% and 0.88%.

Last week the basic chemical (CITIC) plate, a total of 155 stocks rose, 21 teamsremain unchanged, the stock fell 34, rise the number of shares accounted for more than 73.81%. Wanwei Gaoxin, Zhejiang Zhongcheng, ChuanHua chemical,LAN-STAR new material and the German group were among the biggest gainers, were up 29.34%, 22.49%, 22.03%, 21.99% and 19.81%; Denon group,Huilong shares, Wanchang technology, Guofeng and dragon shares drop top,fell by 12.10%, 11.24%, 10.92%, 5.56% and 4.44%.
